Gratitude for my Dad

Hi Friends and Fall Up Community,

As I begin this journey of sharing more regularly through this blog, I thought it was only appropriate to have my first entry be dedicated to the person who has championed me through all aspects of my human journey – the growth, healing, and ultimately arriving in this place of service, and that person is my Dad, Robert Jenkins (hi Dad!).

I consider myself incredibly lucky that my Dad has only and always encouraged me in following my heart. My Dad, a longtime commodities trader, former hedge fund manager, and lifelong learner, was always the first to say, “Keep following your passion.” This was not something that he heard from either of his parents, but it was something that he told me consistently, as I tracked my way into my calling – being here, serving, supporting, and co-creating with all of you.

Those of you who have been blessed to encounter my Dad’s wisdom and presence in our Fall Up Circles, are aware of the intentional grief healing journey that he’s been on over the past two and a half years.

All of this has led to a meaningful development here at Fall Up. I believe that the point of healing isn’t just to heal ourselves, but rather to support healing in the collective. With this, I’m excited to share with all of you that next month, season one of my brand new podcast, Falling Up, will exclusively feature courageous conversations between me and my Dad.

Ram Dass said if you think you’re enlightened, go and spend a week at home with your family. Or, in my case, start a podcast with your Dad?!

What can you expect? Sacred stories, reflections, and insights from our individual and shared grief into growth journeys over these past two and half years.

Be the first to know when the podcast launches by subscribing to the Fall Up blog here

Remember: together we fall up!

With love, Jasmin
